Do you say thank you to your cards
when I do my cards on my self I always thank them I thank my angel cards I think my cards and my talent cards I'm my information cards and my overcards what I've got I always thank them as my way as soon appreciation to the advice they give me

Yes...to the Powers That Be coming thru the cards, more.
But I must say, I did my first 3 card draw...just generally, with no questions.
It was SO profound...I don't have any desire to do anymore for myself for
the rest of my life.
Amazing stuff.
So, I just do them now for friends with 'issues'...always issues with them.

I always thank whoever and whatever has helped me with divination and anything else that helped me. I learned many years ago that not thanking my pendulums and ignoring them, put them in a sulking mode where they didn't want to work at all. I had a lot of apologizing to do before they worked. I did cleanse them but that didn't end their sulking. What keeps them happy is to thank them after a divination session and say hi to them every day regardless if I use them or not. The same goes for my cards, etc.
