Hi, just an alternative possible interpretation.
Your at a place high up with a group of people. Perhaps this is a state of higher consciousness.
And out of impatience you follow this woman and other people to this city. Indicating a descent in consciousness. Dark green could be symbolising jealousy. Hollow metal tubes indicating no real substance to the journey. Concrete steps and concrete car park perhaps following man made things. Dark and grimy again indicative of not a pleasant experience. The rat symbolises the constant chewing over same thoughts regarding some issue. While the rat is killed you never reach the bottom of the decent. Are you sure this isn't a bottomless pit you are heading into. Just my thoughts. Good luck
