Beautiful Powys

I've just come back from a holiday in Powys, mid Wales. The scenery is so beautiful I was moved to tears. Everywhere you look there's amazing views of mountains, valleys, lakes, wild animals (farm, rabbits, deer, birds etc). I've been abroad to various countries but I never thought I'd see beauty like this. Something about mountains and wildlife just touches me I guess, more so than even the sea.

Powys is indeed a beautiful place as is Aberdovey. I hope you had fish and chips there!!

Looks like the weather was kind as well.

I hope the break was what you needed.

Thank you for sharing the beautiful pictures.

betwys y coed - that brings back memories. Holidays were spent in N. Wales Llywn Peninsula - it was sensational. We didn't need much, just a beach.

Unfortunately my parents were singularly unimaginative about trips. We spent many hours in a car to drive to a beautiful spot, have lunch in the car (no, not even by the side of the car) and then drive home.

Note to self: must go back.

Glad you like them!

Native Spirit I'd love to go to Snowdon and definitely will at some point.

Belle we arrived a bit too late for the fish and chips so we ended up eating at the nearby town machynlleth instead!

You're lovely.
