hands on fire

hello.....
due to one member of this forum i ve been informed about a special meditation technique......as I have had not really experience in meditation ...I really liked this, as it is written down of how to do this

but yesterday evening I was sitting down for my meditation....lovely candles around me.....after a afew minutes i have had a weird sensation in my hand. They were starting to get really really really hot.

Any ideas to this?? What does it mean? Is it a good sign?

I've experienced sensations like that - in hands, arms, feet even.

Thing is, I'm not aware of what meditation technique you were using. Also, I have no idea what your previous spiritual orientation and perceptions were.. Might be good to include that sort of info in your OP, because people who might like to respond may not be too familiar with your earlier posts here on SF.

In any case, I can't remember getting the hot-hands or hot-arms experience during my earlier meditation experience. For me, it only came after I got initiated into some healing practices - which I do in addition to my regular meditation.

I am doing this since approx two weeks only.....well funny enough ...but i do have interesting reactions.

When I was talking to my spiritual guides ...they even recommended me to do this mediation....one of them said, it would bring me closer to them....

One day I felt the presence of a spirit.

I know I am very new into spiritual things and meditation. I have no idea why I have these reactions and sensations.....all still very new for me...I am still learning.....allthough I have been told that I was high priestess in my very first life. So they said.....all is still inside me ...somewhere hidden....unconcious

Two healers I knew said their hands got so hot sometimes while healing people, they got blisters on their palms.

Perhaps the heat is healing you. Or maybe you're on your way to being a healer! :)

Burning, or heat, is a common feeling in energy-related practices, I felt it especially in my left hand after my level 1 reiki attunement.

Maybe you're experiencing the first symptoms of your practice?
