Jesus said "Dont throw pearl before swine". In other words dont teach the law of affirmations to someone who is not intelligent enough to use it as intended. One should never affirm the whole details of what you want. It is okay to affirm" I have gotten the most appropriate job", but it is foolish to affirm "I will get a raise of twenty thousand dollars before next christmas". You should never affirm the exact DETAILS but leave enough room for the universe to adjust to your needs in a flexible way.
Similarly, one should never affirm that "The neighbour next door has fallen in love with me and has married me". Why not ? Because the Universal Intelligence may see that the neighbour will be happier with someone else than you. Instead of giving the exact details of your prospective boyfriend, you should just affirm " I have married the most compatible person and am happy with him".
The Law of Affirmations works if what you affirm is in harmony with the universe. That is why some people who affirm all kinds of ridiculous things dont have their desired object, because it is not in harmony with the universe.
The next thing to think about is how to know whether my affirmations are in harmony with the universe.
To know this is not so easy and requires some wisdom and intelligence. Also, see if your affirmation is at least to some extent unselfish. If the affirmation is about getting into a relationship with someone specific, then see if you are at least compatible to that person from that person's point of view.
In such cases, it is always best to affirm: "I have married the most compatible person", instead of affirming that "I have married Johnny Twoshoes".
