Maybe the rabbit represents the rabbit hole down which we have gone with this thread.

I can't mention rabbit hole without highlighting the ubiquitous hollow hole in the forms of this world. They express the perfect infinite emptiness of our being. Slight Zen-like interlude there.

Regarding different routes, imo all routes come from the One and lead to the One, whilst remaining as the One. There are not many rivers flowing to the sea, there is just water. (Sticking with the Zen theme .)

Yes life doesn’t require us to speak like a oneness zombie.. hehe

In fact there is much freedom to be more engaged with life as you are, as others are, without worrying too much about where you fit.

I’ve been around guru types who have lost touch with reality to some degree. I prefer to integrate myself and just be me, feelings and all. I’m blessed from doing consistent work on myself, that my feelings are generally centred in clarity. In that balanced state, my movements generally are calm and non reactive. I’m generally observing others with their cranky pants on.

as much as i didn't want to believe it, i think it is kinda 'normal' for people to lose touch with reality while thinking they haven't... even those of us who have a closer relationship with the process of our lives and even see through what some of the others seem to be doing aren't immune as far as i can tell...

gurus aren't beyond it either. Not a single one of them really knows anything 'real'. That was pretty much my first lesson, in spirituality...

I should say I'm not immune either, i just happen to know of this as a very real tendency...

I’ve done it myself in process, it took a more logically brained person to bring me back into my body more directly and move past that point in process. It only took him to say- “you’ve lost touch with reality” to realise. I think it scared me enough to fall back in. Of course it wasn’t easy to face the reality of myself and life, but I’m grateful for that shift. .I can witness more aware and realised now.

I don’t think I would recognise it otherwise. I think it’s harder for guru types who spend endless hours in meditation or altered realities. A meditation teacher who I once had was great for our lead into meditation but for our everyday existence he didn’t have much clue. So discussions weren’t always easy for him where you do require a grounded ‘in touch’ with reality approach.

As humans we are creatures, not immune from inner and outer balance, so even spirituality or too far out of the real world, in its own time and process eventually understands, the lived experience can’t be avoided. The totality of you is very important.
