perhaps guidance is a better term- but whatever people choose to call them is up to each individual- whether its laws or concepts or something else - they are interesting points to consider when making decisions in life .....x

Whilst I agree that it makes interesting and thought-provoking reading, a universal law would be something to take more seriously (since it suggests it is irrefutable) than guidance or concepts. So, as such, it would be of value to know whether these constituted real universal laws or not. If there is an objective truth, then that's what really intrigues me.

Many of them are concepts that I've spent a lot of time exploring. But as amy says, attributing the word 'universal law' gives the concept an air of irrefutability.
Now why would people explore something that is so pre-defined it has become a 'law' of the universe?
People can choose what words they use. So when they use a word in a context that it simply doesn't apply, it seems a valid occasion to question them.
The Law of Socks - The Law of socks states that when a pair of socks reaches the age of enbrightenment, they will lose any attachment to their twin sock. But they will be forever free of sweaty feet.
