To be honest though, my husband was given a hamper from m+ s for Xmas and it was just full of all different chocolate products and really was nice.
But what do you mean you're fed up of waiting for the end game .
And what do you mean football is boring ?

Do you mind...? They used to stop in their tracks to watch me !
And I never had a problem getting served because if I did it at the back of the queue the people just faded away and the empty checkout emerged like the parting of the red sea.
And anyway, it wasn't me responsible for the closures . They all went bust after the 99p shops opened !!!!

...So ahead of the Portugal game, am I right in thinking that Ronaldo is still in the squad ???
I was led to believe he had retired from international tournaments after the last world cup when he went off the pitch after they lost crying and sobbing and didn't even stop to applaud his fans .
So I'm a bit confused.

Yes he is still around, even a starter in the squad as a 39 year old. I think they still got Pepe around as well and he's passed 40.

Oh really ?
That's great, thanks Altair.
It puts me in mind of Roger Milla (Cameroon) who was still playing in world cup aged 42 and even scored ( against Russia in '94 ) ...
And his "celebration " performance after scoring is legend !!!!

Yes he scored against Russia in 94', which makes me wonder? Did you just look that up or are you another soul that remembers all sorts of trivial facts?

Oh I can remember clear as day watching it .
It was fantastic.
Roger Milla MADE the world cup.
I never forgot him after that .
I knew he was in his 40's at the time, but I looked it up just to check I had the facts right.
Didn't want to look like an idiot . |
