I don't think it's a big deal if she gives the name, I find it a strange thing to nitpick over especially over the internet, where there may be trouble tuning in.
If there is question of the whether or not the medium is real, there are plenty of other characteristics you can use other than their name.

The web shouldn't make a difference - the link isn't established over an internet connection.
Names are important for many - it's not nitpicking to hope for / expect identification that shows a communicator is someone related to, or relevant for, the recipient.
A medium is a medium - period. But a practitioner may be something else and/or mistaken / misguided about her abilities. Or a practitioner may be deliberately misleading others.
These are general remarks and are not aimed at any practitioner mentioned.

Psychics need to tune in at least to the person who is being read for, so a name/identifying characteristics help.

But an internet connection isn't what 'tunes' them in and no reputable medium would ask for, or expect to be given, the name of their sitter or the name of anyone the sitter hoped to hear from.
Names and characteristics of the communicatorshould be provided by the medium for their sitter so that sitter can identify the communicator but sitters should not volunteer information, only confirm or otherwise if the communicator is recognised.
