Dream Quit job

Dreamt I was at work in a pub with my baby girl, she was a toddler, a little me. I was working and she was saying she needs to go to the toilet. I was almost at the end of my shift so I kept saying hang on a minute, I looked at her and saw she had a nappy on and thought why can't she just go in that, but she wanted to use the toilet. When I took her, the toilet seat had some weird ridged pattern like the bottom of a trainer, it was more like the tire tread of a tractor as each ridge was a foot high, it was filthy and had poo all over it. I tried to wipe it so my baby girl could use it, but each time I wiped, a big lump of poo would appear and I though sod this I'm not cleaning that, so I just held her above the toilet so she could go. I decided to quit the job. When I was walking out with her in my arms, a boss said to me, I need you to pay your tips £5 shall do it. I said I didn't earn any tips this shift, then I realised I didn't have my bag or purse to show him I had nothing. I went back in looking for it, then I saw a sign saying a bag had been retrieved and I'd need to pay the landlady £5 to get it back. I kicked off and said I don't have the money and I want my bag back now as I quit this job. When I walked out with my baby I felt happy and relieved, other people thought I was making a rash decision but I knew it was the right one. When I walked outside I could feel the fresh air against my skin and the sun was shining out from the clouds with blue skies.


I've got a job interview next week, I really want to quit my job, for ages I have been wondering if it would be the right choice. Also, this morning Matt text me saying his work ends this Friday and they don't have any more work for him so I don't know If this dream relates to me or him.

That was an interesting dream! I think this dream reflects that you dont like your job and your subconscious is leting you know you wont be happy continuing working there. Do not wait for a right time to take action, this only creates uncertainty. Decide what YOU want and then take action upon it.

I guess the reason you have not quit your job is the scarcity of loosing alot of money. My tips is this. If you dont get this job that you have an interview on.. everyday after work search for a new job till you get one and quit.

That's so good to hear, I've been doubting myself for such a long time wondering if I just need to do or be better at what they want for my job to be better, however I'm really not happy here, and I'm glad to hear the dream shows this! I've also been worrying that I may not get paid as much at a new job, but my mum said to me at the weekend, its not all about the money. Also, although the job I have an interview for is a bit less money a year, its half hour less a day which I worked out is more money per hour just a bit less each month, so its actually better anyway. Fingers crossed! Interesting how waiting and this creating uncertainty is show in the dream! I want to move on, so I will do so :) Feels exciting making that choice, or rather accepting that within myself. Thank you for your advice, I will do that :)
