Nicely said. And very true.
This holds true for partners, friends, and/or family, and certainly for acquaintances or strangers.

I love coming on here and seeing such direct and truthful words of wisdom, clarity, and comfort

Peace & blessings,

Very nice, Miss H.

I agree that this aspect is often a part of any situation.
And many are not aware, or not well aware, of it.
And when we are, we can see how it interplays with the actions on the ground here and now. There's nothing for it but to send love and light, and kindness where we can in our interactions.

No matter the situation, whether conflict or disagreement, rejection, abuse, or what have you....

If forgiveness and acceptance is their lesson, it is what it is, and we have to let it be. Perhaps if abusive, cruel, or unkind, their lessons may include learning to participate in love and kindness as well.

And we in turn always have the opportunity to engage in these lessons as well!

Peace & blessings,
7L

Perhaps shift your feeling of them being an "object of your affection" to "a person you are attracted to".

The attributes that you like about this person bring you one step closer to know the type of person you wish to send your quality time with whether they are friends or a romantic partner.

Thanks for everyone's input I really needed sound advice, and I know Rejection can be painful but it's also can be for the best too. I don't think that there is such a thing as really being "Too Good" for a person, but instead that they could be not who you need in your life.
