Cortisone Injections and Pregnancy
Hey all, I used to get injections in my neck (right at the base of the skull) for neuritis. Essentially the nerve itself being inflamed, no cause has been found.
I have not needed them in about 2 years. Usually one shot will last me 4 months. I have been getting a lot of the headaches again because of not being able to sleep in the optimal position.
What's your take, on getting an injection during pregnancy?
My option in pill form is Tylenol #3, which I know will affect the baby. The cortisone does not go into the bloodstream.
My guides are not talking to me right now. They will not tell me if I should do it or not. My other concern is labor. If I get an episode during labor, I will not be able to function, and will be unsuccessful.
