I am glad that you finally arrived at the surrendering stage.

About choice, I had thought about choices that I thought were my own decisions.
Well.. I had learnt that all those choices were already destined.
I just thought that I was making my own decisions. Foolish thoughts....

If you think about "that fateful choice" before you met her, you had hundreds or even thousands choices that led you to the moment when you faced that one fateful choice.
None of those choices were your own decisions.
You were destined to meet her. You did not have a choice.

It is best to just surrender to that fact as well.

surrendering is a trip when you talk about destiny, i mean if everything is destined why do I need to even be thinking about the topic of surrendering? Much less trying to attain it? And why does everything hurt so much in a way that makes me want to try to stop it?

If I'm going to be where I'm going to be anyway and or irregardless, what is the point in running around attaining things?

So it seems like there is a lot of waste in terms of things that happen that really have no need to be happening if we are just endlessly following some script....

on the other hand if we don't have destiny why am I stuck with so many choices/attainments that just obviously don't suit me even a little bit?

Hey Fall,
I empathize with your struggle and pain.
Those questions are valid. I had asked those questions countless times.
In my experiences, accepting an unfavorable destiny is also a part of surrendering - even with all the best attempts to make a favorable outcome.
Universe has a way of reminding me when I forget about it.
I am my own ultimate destiny.
At the end, it was never about the soul connections but to just acknowledge the love in those connections and to learn to forgive self.
