Today I wept in a cafe. Was listening to a song, and it triggered a memory. I traveled through the memory. This triggered another event. I felt a light surround me and expand outward. This experience is familiar to me. Yet today I had a very sweet communion. Something has come to my conscious mind. It is that others in the area had felt a similar experience and still do.

I really knew what it was like to go through such an event (the one in my memories) this allowed me to empathize on another level, and because of this empathy I was able to channel the healing outward, from myself to where ever it was most needed.

This is a healing gift of mine. Others look have looked at me in the past, whilst I have undergone such an experience. "Are you okay?" I hear them say. But the truth is, I have never been better. Although it is painful to feel such sorrow, it is also wonderful to feel such healing.

All gifts are healing gifts if used properly. I thought I would share this experience with you all.

What a lovely expression and sharing of your healed space...thankyou for sharing..
I use this process from the healing space I have found by empathically linking with people to open them to the healing and awareness for themselves directly......And music like you I use to connect in ways where I it usually activates a message or connection...In a world where every thing is connected...we have the potential to utilize more than just ourselves...amidst the many connections we are connected to...

Many. This has happened to me many times.
What you describe is truly just a spontaneous sort of healing and energy channeling which often is done intentionally as "tonglen".

I think it is most frequently used to soothe one's one pain whilst also being of service to others by taking in pain and sending out love and light.

But there is that element of transmuting our pain to love and our darkness to light that is very similar. And yes, very healing.
This would also be a good thread in the healing forums.
