Fate, faith & the journey of life

Fate, faith & the journey of life: Some say all we need in life is the belief in fate-our life’s destiny which shouldn’t be interfered with, our life’s journey-the life we chose to live which also shouldn’t be interfered with a lastly the faith to believe fate & our journey should never be interfered with. What if I told you fate & our life’s journey has always been interfered with in one way or another for good & bad, all you need to do is look at wars for starters how they have moulded & interfered with humanity since the day we stopped hunting & gathering & took possession of land & goods which of course related to the ego.

If I said to someone I’m going to kill a few people today should I be stopped as it’s my fate & life’s journey I do so & it’s the victims fate & life journey as well that I kill them? The answer of course would have to be yes I should be stopped.

The people who believe in faith in fate & life’s journey wouldn’t or shouldn’t stop me because of their faith, would they stop me then if it was one of their children? Of course they would because one would have to interfere in such affairs. Now this is interfering in one’s life journey but the thing is this is also of fate that they interfere.

Some people say you shouldn’t interfere in other people’s lives in making them aware as they have their lives journey to play out but isn’t the act of interfering part of that journey anyway, isn’t that a part of their fate that you make them aware even if they don’t want to be aware?

Having faith is fine but blind faith that life is all plan destined & one’s life should never be interfered with even for the good seems too blind faith for me, we have our own journey to walk but we also live with others who have their own walk, these paths are going to cross & intermingle at times with others & will be influenced by other people’s walk, that is predestined unless one is in total recluse.

We are not predestined to allow things to happen & not lift a finger because we believe it’s interfering in someone else’s life journey, we are predestined to cross & intermingle our paths with each other to whom we come across & if that means interfering in someone else’s journey that is what’s meant to happen.

I agree. Too many times in the past I think I've been scared to interfere with my own fate and with the fate of others, thinking let God/Spirit have its way, instead of interfering, but now I try to gently interfere and what many see as interfering, I see as true help and guidance. I think we are meant to help and teach and demonstrate truth and knowledge to one another, according to the level of our own understanding. As long as we don't bombard people with our view or try to force them to do it our way or condemn/judge them for disagreeing. Just my opinion, anyway.

G'day Louisa

This is a good point Louisa, not to force our view or awareness on others, if we come across people who are unaware I think it's our duty as caring loving humans to at least try to make them aware the rest is up to them.

I love being human because it's so expressive in so many different ways but we do need to get ourselves away from dominance as it's way to destructive.

One other thing I wouldn't call in interfering either & maybe we are suppose to so call interfere anyway I think that's up to each individual to decide not some made up spiritual rule that you shouldn't interfere.

Sure you can interfere with someone elses life journey...how ever you will probably meet a whole lot of resistance as a response.

Generally speaking i think we should lead by example and mind our own business.

cheers

Interference might be viewed as taking over.........but I like your example of leading...

G'day Gregatha

Yes I think we are meant to at times but not by force of course which has been the case for millenniums & I think this is why some have become paranoid about interfering when they are actually supposed to.

With minding our own business yes I agree with especially when it’s not called for but just giving helpful advice isn’t to me sticking one’s nose in other people’s business because it’s still up the recipient to accept or not as it’s just helpful advice which some would call negatively interfering but I wouldn’t.

If you think about it how many times have others on this site given advice even through questioning someone even when it’s not called for, to me that’s not interfering but helpful advice I will or will not take on, that’s still left up to me to decide. On the other hand if someone is badgering others to take on their own advice that's quite different.

Questioning anyone is interfering especially when it's not called for but it can be quite helpful to the recipient so I really don't mind asking other people questions unless it's obviously unwarranted.
