I believe this too...
its all messed up for me right now because when i first did the basic buddhist/hindu style meditation i felt like i was on top of the world, but then 3rd week when i thought to stop it just went crazy for me... its like im experiencing a taste of hell...

Oh that, hy... well... This often happens to people after they begin meditation practice. Any negativity buried in the subconscious mind comes to the surface... in order to be released, healed and cleared. Just keep going in meditation, in light and God's love. It takes some time in faith and persistence, but you'll gradually come out of this difficult phase with more wisdom.

To find the light one must first be submerged in the darkness. I am sure this dark period will be the reason you find the light you are seeking. It is similar to people with physical problems whatever they may be, for them to come to the point where they finally want to put in the work to improve they must hit rock-bottom. Balance shows it's beautiful face in every facet of everything.
