Many have their own personal reasons as to what it means for them, but the main source of its opening which apparently began some time during 1992 relates to the bridge between duality and Oneness. They say it is a pre-encoded trigger placed into our cellular memory banks prior to our descent into matter. So when it opens it is apparently the beginning of our pathway into the unknown. So once you start to see it, according to this particular source, you are initiating/opening yourself to walk through the eleven gateways one by one. If I recall the first gateway is healing the heart.
