There's one thing that I feel is a shame when it comes to the Bibles: the photos aren't all that good. They don't show the true colours of crystals very well.
I know it isn't easy to get this properly done, but even I can do a better job with my phone's camera.
Some crystals that are pink look yellow/orangy.
Red tourmaline shows a brown layer in yellow etc. etc.
Don't get me wrong, I love the bibles and I am very happy with them, but they could've done a much better job on the photos.

That I agree with. Some are very much respresentative of what they are in real life but others look very weird. Take the pictures of Sugilite for instance. They look more like red Tiger's Eye.
For me it's not that much of a problem as when I'm getting interested in a stone when looking through her books I also look up info on the internet. But I do have to agree that the pics should have been more on point. |

Yes, if those photos were all we had to go by in a crystal shop we'd have a hard time finding the crystal we wanted, haha.
Some are okay, but I'm glad there are other visual references :)

I wasn't speaking directly to you even though I was, I was more like narrating it like a commercial, the benefit of a book. :) |
