Haha....yes !!! And maybe if you do ever get over for the promised "fish and chips" you can bring him with you !!!
I know at first he was missing some of the food , typical bloke !

At first he was missing some of the food..... give him some time and he will be 'dying' for some of the food. I missed pizza. I lost my appetite for pizza after trying their version. Their version was 'something' on bread. LOL!

LOL....that's funny. I asked him if they had fish n chip shops over there and he said that they do , but they sell a fish with crisps instead of chips !!!!
I still don't know if he was kidding me !
Last I heard he had bought a air fryer so he could make jacket potatoes as they don't have ovens LOL.. although the family did really enjoy them with melted cheese on .
It's good to see you a little more back to your old self . |

No ovens. What amazed me is men, street vendors with their carts would make delicious filled pastries without an oven over charcoal and they never burned anything.
Just about every day, I revisit the day when my heart and lungs became paralyzed. I was sitting up in the bed, looking at the monitor. There was no pain. I guess I had a grin on my face as the nurse told me that any second I could have a heart attack and there is nothing they can do for it. That is it!

My Medical people ask me how do I feel and I tell them "with my hands".
As for "spirits", I tell them "I have a whiskey deficiency ... and I don't even drink alcohol!"
What I am trying to say is "THANKS FOR YOUR LOVING COMMENTS..... THIS IS FOR YOU AND THE OTHERS!".
Every day seems to have its challenges. But then, isn't that what life is all about? Ask Angel Blue...... she is also experiencing life: the part(s) we don't like talking about. Hopefully, I am getting better. But then, that is just another part of life.
