Design the Altar … Confront your own consciousness …

A bit of methodology …

Once anyone deeply begins to draw the difference between what and where the outer world leads ones perspectives verses understanding what the “inner world” are all about … one often slowly becomes aware that it is the inner that develops the outer … as above so below … as the inner goes the outer … all of that. Many on this forum board understand this but it is *not* common knowledge.

Those that head inside to discover and design their own inner worlds quickly realize that they know very little about the vast of these worlds. Look at it this way … if anyone needed to go do some grocery shopping or head to the local mall or go find a sunny beach or go visit whomever or go buy some gasoline for the lawnmower or whatever journey one takes in the outer world to go do something or find something … one can rather quickly express the choices one has … good, bad, or indifferent. They know the “parts” or the “places” of the outer world … and well they should. We’ve all been here for a very long time.

Ask someone where such-and-such is “located” in the inner worlds … and you will usually draw a blank. After all … the inner worlds are just … “in.” People going in to meditate verses in to contemplate verses in to define verses in to remember memories verses pray verses … on and on and on … mostly … is just … “in.”

One approach that Soul can use to begin to not only become more familiar with Its own inner worlds but also helps the mind begin to draw necessary distinctions and help mind become a bit more congenial … more compatible … more assistive.

When you go in to “connect with Divine Spirit” … or pray to this Spirit or interact with It on most any level … design an inner altar or temple that you go to for such inner actions … a “special place” of your own design … where only such activities occur … and is yours and yours alone. Any place will do … and yet this is can be a very intimate special inner space … so … take some time to design it … remember it … go there often. Try to keep it somewhat simple but reverent.

It is also incredibly helpful to design your own workshop … or workplace … or an “area” where you go to interact with your own consciousness. In a sense … you are designing your own “inner home.” This is where you would go to explore … enhance … work on … build … redesign … etc. Again … this is *your* own place for *your* own consciousness … what you know … what you believe. When you “step in there” … this is what you intend to do.

To just dive in and “go inside” gives mind no understanding as to the incredible variety of inner activities … so … you go about setting those up. What is of great benefit … is to you doorways or bridges or corners to go around or stairways to “change location” and use this to designate various areas of your own inner world. You are telling mind … “I am going here … because I want to do so-and-so … “ … and mind learns to understand that.

To go to specific locales … so to speak … close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to relax … and then inwardly go through a door and begin whatever activities you have set for that area … or … go around a corner and do the same … or … go up a stairs or across a bridge to do the same thing.

An offshoot of a round-about could be used … or the hub of a spoked wheel. Any good “crossroads” design will do … with maybe four to begin. You can set it up like the outstretched arms of an octopus. Works quite well.

This change in direction or entering into a specific place can train mind to follow differing expressions of protocol … maybe to really quiet down in this “space” … or to be ready to work on some habits or patterns in this other “space” or to even stop the mind and have it all quiet for a moment or two in this “space” … most anything you wish. Soon one goes to these inner “locations” to do specific activities or jobs … and mind … through habit formation … begins to accept and comply.

To go inside and expect various activities or silences to just happen … is like saying I am going out for a drive … and I have no idea where or for what purpose. ( Yes … I know … there are times when this is nice. ) But for the most part … when you get in and drive … you are “going somewhere for a purpose.”

Treat your inner world the same. Make it fun. Make it *yours.* Castles, caves, entire planets, treehouses, wide-open meadows with streams and mountains … all up for your own use. You absolutely could not design something inwardly that does not exist somewhere … at least on the astral … if not in a higher plane. Libraries are great places to set up for your own study … or a cherished inner house that has a fabulous library as one of its “rooms.” If you make a favored house your “inner home” … think what you can do with the specifics within that house. This is one reason why houses are common dream symbols.

To begin with … perhaps just one special place. Don’t expect miracles … mind has to be trained. If you wanted a “Quiet Room” … then you would have to design that space … walk into it through a door or something similar … and then begin to train your mind to be quiet … “there.” When you finally train it to any positive degree … you can then go inside and walk into that “space” and mind will follow suit by habit.

The main point is … put a “division” in there somewhere. This helps the mind understand that it is going from one state to another. Divisions = doors / gates / corners / bridges / rooms / staircases / crossroad / etc.

YoU design these so they mean something to YoU.

In a sense … by doing this … you are beginning to design … YoU … and direct access to these designated spaces. These special “places” … especially the altar or temple … can develop into a greater and more reverent inner sanctuary the more you allow it to evolve … used specifically for interaction with whatever God you believe in at the moment. This can be enhanced … all the way to the Core.

This … works … if you work with it.

My point is … try not to just close your eyes and expect the mind to focus on different factors through just sheer will power. Yes … that can be done … but try to use the habitual tendencies of the mind and design various sectors using symbols so that it will tend to focus on an area of your choice with its designated symbol … and use a “divider” such as a door, corner, etc to help the mind learn it is going from one “sector” to another. With training and practice … you can inwardly view the symbol and the mind will focus on that sector. The approach pays dividends. Try it.

Considerations Seventy …

Differences within the One …

I wish to delve into ones personal altar / temple and just what that involves. This might include a definition of two … something that some of you might find interesting.

Many on the forum board dabble in the question of “One” and what that means … in terms of unity and separation and such. The initial meaning of the word “One” is just that … that all of Existence is from One source … Divine Spirit … radiating from the Core Creator God. Again … EVERY-thing is formed out of this Essence … this Divine Spirit. The only exception is the Center God ITSELF. No one can be outside of this … no one can be separated from this. History has had us “worship” multiple gods … from the Greek gods to the gods found in constellations … on and on and on.

What complicates matters is the Divine Spirit is re-designed if you will … below the 5th Plane … Atma Lok … and the Spirit of the Lower Psychic Worlds takes on the negative element so that form can be manifested … and into conditions and such. But the make-up of this is still … Divine Spirit. It is just watered down a bit. Actually … quite a lot.

If you take pure water … and then add to it some flavoring … or add anything to this pure water and it then becomes some kind of altered beverage. It is different from pure water … but is still composed from a pure liquid.

Such is the difference between Divine Spirit … and the Spirit from the Lower Psychic Worlds.

So everything … is of this same substance. The difference lies in its rate of vibration. ( I have never been fond of the term “rate of vibration” … sounds too mechanical … but there are few better substitutes and so I will continue to use “rate of vibration” ( RoV) because it carries the concept. In a sense … the massive vortex of Existence is very mechanical indeed … set into motion for a purpose … within which we all draw our various states of consciousness. This is the mechanical / technical side of it all. )

Ice changes into water, to steam, to vapor, to gas … not because the water changes … but the RoV changes.

In the exact same light … every element of ones state of consciousness changes according to the RoV … especially since thought itself is a vibration. Personal habits, viewpoints, emotions, thoughts, life style, habits, patterns, beliefs … all have their distinct RoV. We have no choice in this. Our individual aura … is at a specific RoV … composite thought it is. Everything about us and all of Existence has its own RoV.

To many of you … this is nothing new. What might perhaps be new is the extent to which this governs our lives. It governs … everything.

As said above … thought is a vibration. So are the emotions. The RoV of emotions … you can feel these quite easily.

So elements differ not in substance … but in RoV. Thoughts are the same. This personal RoV that each of us has is what draws life experiences to us. If you run thoughts of guilt, shame, arrogance, anger, fear, lust, greed, kindness, tolerance … the list goes on and on … if these thoughts are constantly running through your perspective … what do these and any combination thereof … do to your RoV that YoU are living? How would all of this shape our lives? It *has* been … whether you know it or not … or you just accept this on an intellectual level and pay little attention to it.

You live this. Now.

Each of us as Soul is at the Center of Existence. Wherever you are right now … reading, driving, sitting … whatever … all of Existence totally surrounds you … right now. The only reason you cannot “see” or “feel” it is because the physical senses cannot detect their RoV’s. They are beyond physical perception but the other facets of Self … the astral, causal, mental, etheric … and certainly Soul Itself … can be trained and learn to perceive them … according to their ability to perceive them. The astral cannot be trained to perceive the mental, etc. Soul … can use the various inner bodies to see it all.

Physically … you can only detect what can physical be sensed … and our thoughts / habits / beliefs determine what we hold to inwardly … all according to the RoV.

The astral plane is right next to you … all around you … but you cannot see it … because you have not learned how to “see” the higher ROV through the senses of your astral body. As is the causal / mental / etc. They are all right around you … you are in the middle of it. You are focused outwardly or inwardly … according to your understanding and abilities.

Again … most of you are familiar with this … but heavily consider … just what part does all of this play in what you can and cannot do … your abilities … your perceptions … your enlightenment … your daily life … your moment-to-moment existence … your relationships … your jobs … your place of residence … your dreams … your goals … your trials … again … on and on and on.

Think of the RoV of mainstream media … of music … of the movies you watch … other peoples thoughts and feelings … etc … all pouring in on you … constantly. What does that do to you?

Consider … that very little of our perceptions are independent of these outer manipulations. We have lived variations of this for so long … much of them are not “outer” anymore.

To consider going inside and designing or finding a personal “altar” from which to interact with all of this … is no light-weight endeavor. But it is “inside” that all of this must be encountered … and if any changes or growth is to take place … it is there … on the inner.

You can simplify or start all of this by simply seeing the word “IN” after you close your eyes and gather yourself for inner adventure. See this word as massively tall … hundreds of feet tall … make it glow … make it distinct … and then just walk yourself right in between the letters and continue to whatever adventure awaits. You could add the feature of putting a big set of door handles down where you could reach them … such as on any big double-door scenario … and pull them slightly open towards you … and then enter.

You could close your eyes to daydream … to remember a shopping list … to remember someones name … to close out an unhappy sight … to remember last nights movie … etc. By closing your eyes and going through “IN” … you are drawing a distinction. Mind will learn if you train it to do so … and this is about as generic and workable approach as you can get.

Stop going over and over your disappointments or trials or worries. Let past battles go … especially when you head inside. Try not to hold to yesterday as the measure of all experience. Leave all future possibility as valid and expected.

Considerations Seventy-One …

Even this makes a difference …

Take a guess as to the difference in the rate of vibration (RoV) of Soul Itself and the Lower Psychic Worlds bodies … physical, emotional, and mental. To advance … is not just a matter of study … or of a yet-to-be-discovered book or website.

The RoV of the Lower Psychic Worlds bodies is focused on … and can only … analyze / divide / categorize / reason / dissect / etc. This is what they are made to do … so no surprise … this is their intent and methodology.

Soul … approaches altogether differently. Since Soul lives within and approaches by way of the Whole of Life … it does not analyze / divide / categorize / reason / dissect / etc. Obviously … Soul has to determine … and then live within … an entirely different set of essences or forces. There is nothing to analyze / divide / categorize / reason / dissect / in the Pure God Worlds since there is no form. From the 5th Plane upwards … Divine Spirit is not yet made specific. I’ve been through this in previous posts.

The various web sites … the scriptures … the books … the organized religions … just reminds one of the higher truths … but do nothing to “get you to them.” The working method / answer … is to live these truths. And the higher truths are certainly VERY different than the rules and regulations we have to live down here … mostly for peaceful / compatible interaction … rules of society / etc. Most people understand what it is all about … but do not know how to live the higher truths … especially while here in the Lower Psychic Worlds.

Or they let their old habits control them and they cannot even get a glimpse of what the higher truths may be … let alone to live them.

Much of the benefit / contentment / serenity of life is just to continue to form new more beneficial habits … to remind yourself of them … and to focus on thoughts around them … and to even let the new beneficial habit grow … as it will naturally. Do this … rather than thinking about past failures /shame / errors / mistakes / wrong doings / etc … brings ever-progressive life.

Thinking about the failures is what you’ve been doing forever. All of us have. If you consider that plugging in these new beneficial thoughts … and every day telling yourself … and reminding yourself of … the thoughts and perceptions from these new habits … just as you have been doing with failures … all this time … into what kind of life will that lead you?

When you focus on pessimistic values and ideas … this is what you are bringing to yourself.

That the new more beneficial ways are difficult … much of that comes from trying to out-maneuver or override the old habits. It does NOT come easily or quickly. Most people don’t even know that this is what they are doing … and drawing life to themselves by doing so. As stated before … to just stop an old pattern leads a void which will be filled … by something. YoU choose what is to fill it. The old … is best replaced by the new that YoU choose.

As you live more and more of the benefits … you then live more and more within the Whole of LIFE … which is … Divine Spirit.

All of the organized religions have just taken tangents off the higher truths and made “religions” out of them to help the population understand what is happening to them and why. The organized religions build off the more easily applicable principles and realities of Lower Psychic World life. They dissected / analyzed / categorized it all … and made a following out of it.

*Nothing* wrong with this. It is a natural part of the Path … and should be followed on its natural course. It is only when you are ready to move beyond … that much of this becomes important anyway. The religions continue to operate within their focused understanding.

People must go through these phases. How else can you learn? How else are you going to know if they are of value or not … and to what extent they *are* of value. Much of it is useable … until you are ready to go beyond. If they satisfy you … please continue.

When it’s time to move on … where are you gonna go? This holds a lot of people back … many just want to continue to belong to the human state of consciousness for lack of knowing what other options are there?

Besides uncovering just what the Whole of Life is and then living from and within that … the greatest preliminary to all of this is ethics. The only limitation on the use of Spirit is by way of ethics … our ethics … the individual use of ethics.

Ethics … as that which is not selfish … which is good for the whole … which will not harm one … and will do justice for all concerned … actions for the benefit of all.

If we live this principle of obedience to Divine Spirit … it is the determining factor in beginning the journey into and beyond the 5th Plane. These ethics are learn here … and are a necessary stepping stone. If and when we do indeed deeply learn them while in the Lower Psychic Worlds … we will continue to develop them as we step into the Pure God Worlds. All will be well for both ourselves and for all others concerned.

No … I do not mean to simplify the progress into the Pure God Worlds as being solely of ethics. It goes much farther than that. But “ethics” must be learned at some time … and put into daily practice. It is a good indicator to Divine Spirit of your sincerity.
