Regarding double messages, nearly everyone seems to do this at first.

For direct quotes, simply click on the <QUOTE> button in the post you want to quote, rather than click on <Post quick reply> after the last message.

If you do this you will also find you get more editing options.

Or you can type [QUOTE = username] before anything you want to quote and end the quote with [/ QUOTE]

Note that it does not have to be bold - I just made it bold for clarity. And I had to include spaces within the brackets to avoid my explanation being treated as a quote.

And forum policy is to keep quotes short for reasons of space, ideally no more than two or three lines. Which may require some creative editing!

Peace

Yep, seems to have worked.

And you can always edit and resave a post after posting it as long as the <EDIT> button is showing in your reply.

Peace

My first spiritual experience was when I was a very young child, maybe 4 or 5. I woke up one night and saw our deceased dog laying on the rug by my bed asleep. Excited I ran downstairs to tell my parents that I had seen her. They tried to convince me that I had dreamed it. As an adult, I've experienced other visitations by beloved deceased pets as well. The most recent was my cat Patches. I was sitting at the dining room table working on a project when my dog came over and started sniffing under the table. I heard a hiss and the dog jumped back and quickly left the dining room. I looked to see who was under the table and as suspected I found no one. When my Patches was alive, she didn't put up with any nonsense from the dog and would usually just hiss angrily when the dog would come over and nose her.

When I was in college, my junior year, my boyfriend had graduated and was working in South America. I woke up one night to see his astral form standing sideways to me in my bedroom, facing the back wall.

When i was very young i used to see a little boy i knew he was older than i was but he felt familiar,
as my family thought i was telling lies i didnt bother telling them.
but he always came to speak to me,
I went to my grandmothers with my parents and siblings and i saw a photo of the little boy i saw,

My grandmother told me he was my Brother and he died on the day i should have been born,
he was nearly 5 years old he drowned, the shock of his dying nearly killed me as i was very nearly born. my mother went on to carry me for another month i was born the day after his 5th birthday.

things are more or less what you make of them... in particular if you believe something can't be or can't happen you will act in such a way as to prevent it from happening. Believing in limitation is therefore a self-fulfilling prophecy. That however doesn't mean you will be able to get things you want just by pretending to believe the opposite.

evidence/proof is more a social contract that anything, you agree to be bound by a particular group's analysis of how things can be and what is acceptable and not acceptable in terms of being a valid concept, and in return you get to consider yourself part of the group. That however says nothing about whether the group is right or wrong in whatever analysis it has made. The assumption by members of the group being it is necessarily 'right' - but it is possible to come to a different conclusion if you are willing to be on the outside. And this also doesn't speak to the fact there are several social groups that have entirely different contracts and thus will let you act in a different way.

Finally, one thing I had to ask myself at some point is why I need some specific feeling before I will allow myself to do what I want to do. Why do I have to seek the 'one true feeling' and then just live it until I die?
