I've seen plenty of Adirondack chairs at the beach over my lifetime and was surprised later on the see a connection between that chair and TB.

I just found this article today
https://www.dwell.com/article/deck-c...t-newtab-en-us

and found this after searching for more information about Adirondack chairs

I was looking at this video from kanopy.com the other day

Tuberculosis
Nevco Education
2005
https://www.kanopy.com/en/pgcmls/video/97278

and at one point the chances of being infected with TB when in contact with someone with active TB is discussed. According to the video, you have a 50% chance of being infected with TB after contact for 8 hours a day for 6 months or 24 hours a day for 2 months when living or working with someone with active TB. So TB doesn't appear to be that contagious. Its known that you need close contact for a long period of time with someone with active TB to get infected with it according to a lot of sources.

I made a 3 minute video using my camera of part of the TB video and put it here.
