Perhaps those that understand reincarnation have a go to authoritative source ? That would be of great interest…..

There is research being done at the university of west virginia. You can easily google it. It’s a controversial topic in science because if it’s true then it is a high impact on many theories and things that are currently held as true. But there is research being done world wide on multiple countries and by various professors

Apparently without consensus if it remains controversial. It shares that status with many things. We can, as I do, accept the reality of something with the caveat of not understanding it. I do not view reincarnation as something that is achieved but, rather, as something that is given because of failure to ascend to a higher level. In essence it is a safety valve….an escape hatch……..

And yet it’s pretty easy. Don’t make a too big deal of it. It’s just what you ate yesterday. Don’t worry if you don’t see it next time around it’s probably because you’re “somewhere” else.

Yup...and imo, that is exactly why you are here.
Again, that is how I see it...or else you would have 'ascended'.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

There are many reasons why we choose to reincarnate. As Dr. Ian Stevenson stated, after being asked, "Why do we go through the bother of reincarnating?", the answer is always love. Many of us reincarnate to help others who have reincarnated. We all progress forward. It is not punishment. It is simply a system of improving ourselves through experience.

I remember a number of my past lives and in many of these, I know the reason I chose that life despite the hardships. Many were chosen to be with the souls in my soul group or associated soul groups out of love for each other. We help each other from lifetime to lifetime. Even in this lifetime, I recognize many of my friends from other lifetimes. We work together whenever we can. In some lifetimes, it was solely to help them with a difficult life. It is simply what we do as reincarnating souls.

I think people reincarnate because they want to reincarnate. Nobody tells anyone to reincarnate. But the motivation for reincarnation is probably different for different people. But I cannot think of fear as a motivator for reincarnation. As a matter of fact, all of us who are living decided to reincarnate in this very frightful place.
