It's not hard to believe there was a lot of injustice around in those days, not sure sure it is so much better these days either, it was seeing the plight of the victim that angered him but i think we can trust he didn't see one injustice deserving another as pay back or anything like that

How we react to situations is our responsibility is the point I was trying to make after AS blames the Internet for some of the anger that individuals feel today.
We ourselves are responsible for our reactions, as anger comes from within... If the internet makes one angry turn it off, simple.... Or control one's anger. |

No.
It is in our nature to fight and compete. Happens all the time. The one thing we can achieve is managed damage control, and the best version of that, with the most winners, has been capitalist society. We should be suspicious of those that preach the soft *language of peace*. One of the better quotes I've heard of is ''Make peace by preparing for war''.
If we cannot acknowledge that nature isn't just pretty but also deadly and competitive, then we overlook things and often create 'solutions' that turn out to be more destructive. It is highly ironic in a way. The religions of complex civilization, the big winners (Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism), are **** poor at acknowledging it and desperately try to control nature. But for all their fancy words and books, they haven't made the kind of perfect society that they preach.
True peace and happiness might exist, but it is not of this world.
