I was raised Roman Catholic and found ACIM to be very very helpful....particularly the workbook.

I don't even know what the Pope's position is regarding ACIM ... nor do I really care.

I can read one sentence of the Text and drop the book with my jaw dropped...the wisdom is that profound.
For new people it was channeled by Jesus/ Yeshua for 7 yrs to a Jewish woman.
It is one book with 1300 pages, in 3 sections - a self-study course, no others to 'answer to'.
(Not for the faint of heart, imo.)

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

When I read the first lesson in the workbook, I was initially stunned as it was mind-boggling ... but it definitely caught my attention and made me want to read more.

After reading the second lesson, I realized how brilliant the workbook was ... and I was hooked.

Many years ago, I attended a weekly ACIM meeting hosted by Rev. Jim Reilly who lived his life in accordance with the ACIM teachings. It was a very enlightening period in my life and I have never forgotten it. I still have the ACIM books in my library and, when a friend recently asked me about the course, we started to discuss it anew as it never gets old. It's really good stuff. I highly recommend it.

P.S. As I quoted from it to my very Roman Catholic mother, she asked me to buy her a copy of the book and she fell in love with the textbook. Although the course has a decidedly Christian flavor, my sense is that it has universal appeal.

Perhaps you can be the one to bring ACIM to the attention of the Pope and see if he does have an "open mind" on that subject.

You should be able to easily survive saying ten Hail Marys. Go for it with Francis!

I'll think about it, you see the last time I was given 10 HM's I kept forgetting what number I was up to and having to start from the beginning and by the time I'd finished the Church was closing, I nearly got locked in
