Touching Truth

Nothing stirring in my heart
The Morning is like night
Again
Outside the streets are
labyrinths from my dreams
Under the orange glow of
Street lights

I come up for breath
And reflect
on the living years
causes of so many things
So many things born and past
The opening and the healing of
the heart

I look in murky waters
or write with poisoned pen
trying to explain away the
light that has fallen on your grave
or the light that has turned you
from a boy who held my hand
to a man

The Sadness ripples through my heart
I can no longer say goodbye
or listen to a sweet melody
without tears
The stolen years flying past
The mangled experiences pressed hard

Today the lotus grows from the mud
The Day rises from the dark
The roots of love feed on the bark
of your tongue ...your words injuring
to the core
The light pours across and down
heavens walls ...into the portal tombs
into the dead gangsters empty mouth
into the abandoned kitchen full of flies
into the self centred pretence, the sexual
moves that froze me out ..
In all this and through all this the lotus
is blooming white, and electric azure blue
the tip toes of babys feet and soft touch
is circling high with me through the heavens
white citadels ..clouds moving fast in september
And the touch of truth remembered !

This is a very deep and powerfully captured poem that obviously holds a deep and meaningful experience and journey for you I am feeling?

Yes indeed Silent, there is alot of stuff there in those few lines, trying to assimiliate parts of the journey through life, although highly dramatic and often painful sometimes as Samuel Coleridge said in ' our abstruser musings' (dont quote me on that ) we can sit quitely and glean from what has happened ? sometimes its like wowww was that me ? that type of thing ..pass the blinking cigar !

I dont know whether to laugh or cry now
You wouldn't want to try and wrestle that cigar off her ...you'd
end up as shark bait What a woman, what a life. Silent your too kind
those cigars look so inviting I once got a really expensive box of Havannas
crumbs from the rich mans table lets say, ghosh i was basking for a good couple of weeks in my new found importance ...just like that old dear there...Seasons greetings to you too..but im sure we will all rendezvous for a few tunes and shake a leg before the big Day So much laughter in this message its incredible lol

Simply delightful. Beautiful and reflective, encompassing so many subtle emotions and insightful perspectives.
