Who was in my corner when I was a baby

In the crib, alone, sinking into...

The majesty of my own physical existence?

Who was in my corner when I was a toddler,

Learning to walk alone upon my own path?

I ask, who was in my corner when I picked up

The instrument of my own heart?

Who was in my corner when I discovered love...

As only I could?

Who was in my corner when my corner

Was dark and desolate...

A child abandoned in the abyss...

The twist is that I was in my corner...

As the love persisted within me

In my corner... Love

As my accomplice.

The light in my eye...

The spark of my own heart...

Desire was the spark which
determined that I was in
In my own corner,

Light of my own path.

Teach a person to fish and
They will eat for life...

Though their children may perish
In the shadow of your debt,

Your children may starve and die,
In the fish deficits.

Give a person a lake and they might
Overfish until
They will realise just what is at stake.

Give a person a lake, let them overfish,
Let the fish stocks deplete,
Let life perish...

Teach a person to treat the lake as if...
It is an integral part of of their own existence,
Sustenance can only be dealt when a person is
Taught to take ownership of
That which they inherit.

Teach a person to create real growth or deficit.

Honour the lake and the fish as thyself...
Teach a person to live in alignment
With self and other..
A balanced and nourished life...

Teach a person to live in harmony...
By understanding
The needs of the self, the fish and the lake...

Eternal sustenance is something -
To believe, to commit to, to desire and create.

The past informs the future

Nothing is saved from the past,
Except for everything which gains
Traction.

No retractions are capable of informing

The future - unless they hold power

In the now.

The power of the now in focus...

Life is a blend of intention and

Hocus Pocus...

The scary thing is that all is in my grasp...

Nothing is lost in the past...

When every moment is

Made, ship, shape... fit to last.
