Emptiness

Each footstep
imprinted upon the walk
I see in shadows
of natures talk
As I listen
deep in me
I learn to walk
with shadows free
The shade of mother natures gift
where sun and form
create a lift
a time of rest
a time to be still
listen and feel
to shadows chill
cooling down,
reprieve from sun
the heat, the heart
with earth as one
When its time
to walk again
the shadow space
brings sun to gain
the clouds,
they simply
show me shade
again when sun
in heat of day
burns my heart
my soul in gain
for shadows empty space I lain...

Empty of ego and full of all of nature and Spirit alike!
