Stop dreaming
About 1.5 year ago I got closer to a man.
We are both in group therapy for attachment disorders/developmental trauma and he tried hard to get in contact with me while I was still very distant in the beginning.
We became very close friends, opening up about our emotions and seeing each other often, on other days we had contact via whats app.
We seem to trigger extremely strong emotions in each other.
Forgetting time and space when we are together but we had some heated arguments hurting each others feelings also.
For me it was clear that I have feelings for him, as these strong emotions are very different from a normal friendship.
Last week I confessed this to him but he said that he didn’t feel the same about me. I was shocked to be honest as I didn’t expect this and feel confused.
I chose to break all contact with him to heal.
Now every night I keep waking up dreaming about him ( in the dreams we are either connecting or caressing each other).
Is there a way to stop these dreams? I find them incredibly upsetting and I don’t know how to get closure like this. Any help would be appreciated.

This technique is a very old and good one ...writing then burning it. :)

I would have to agree with that i have done that often another way is to write it down and bury it
