Brahmakumaris on planting more trees to save ourselves
Insightful article by the Brahmakumaris on planting more trees to save ourselves...
https://www.brahmakumaris.com/blog/p...ave-ourselves/
Quote:
Oxygen bars, which have become popular over the past two decades, charge up to a dollar a minute to let you breathe air mixed with oxygen. Trees have been providing a similar service for millennia at no charge.
Trees also ensure that the air is pleasant to breathe; they absorb odors and pollutant gases such as nitrogen oxides, ammonia, sulfur dioxide and ozone and filter out particulates by trapping them on their leaves and bark.

Hi ajay00, thanks for the article. Given the ongoing deforestation worldwide, it is imperative to plant more trees and implement sustainable forest management practices.

I am 100% for planting trees. But it's amazing how efficient and relentless nature is about planting her own trees. If humans didn't maintain man made buildings and parking lots nature would easily take herself back.
