I got in trouble so many times...like
in the Principal's office or taken to the Guidance Counselor.
Some things I did as a Sophomore were legendary.
One was brought up by another teacher when a Senior ---but no one knew I had orchestrated the entire thing.
(By then I had matured.)
I was talked about in the Teacher's Lounge because I was so smart -
but a delinquent rebel; I was a mystery to them...
I was even in a smart class of the top 6 as a Senior.
But I don't wanna talk about my escapades. Gosh, I wanna forget.

I don't know if the teachers ever talked about me in the Teacher's Lounge (we had 2 of them) but I do know I enjoyed drinking their soda.

Same goes for the Cafeteria: I just can't remember how much food I ate for free.......

I was also in a smart class section.
I spent most of my time in the Library. If I wasn't reading a book really fast, then I was up to no good with the girls............

I was a good-natured rascal. Honestly there wasn't any reason to be afraid of me. The teachs were really bugged that I wouldn't conform and work hard for grades just because "you are really really smart". I explained them that grades are in no way a measurement of intelligence, and that life would know how to put my intelligence to the test. They really didn't like that lol but so far, my grades stayed at school and I got to do all the things I wanted to, up to that point.

Just one time I almost got into a fight, which had never happened before. Someone in my class had tried to do something to someone else I felt really close to. And a year after that, it just resurfaced in my mind and couldn't think of anything else ! As things went, that guy kept on provoking me in response to my provocations, things esacalted and a meetup was set. I'm happy that in the end he didn't have the guts to come, because I wasn't going to let go, and chances are I would've ended up in jail lol

People are always surprised when I tell them if they look inside they'll find out how beautiful they are. It can be nice too, reading a book at a pace which will let you enjoy it fully.

I think you might get some unusual school day stories on here Jo - non from me, good at maths, that was it - and getting caned or slippered - over the top punishment I expect, but we were taught respect in those days...

I know me and my friends thought it would be a good laugh we were told to cleaning the Cups in the staff room
What teachers is used for their tea and coffee
But me and my friends decided to put tea bags and coffee grounds in the urn raided
But one of teachers themselves a cup of tea and poured of water from the urn and the colour of the water the colour was a funny brown colour
You should have said his face we all got busted on that one
It still seems a laugh now even though it was silly and naughty
But don't worry I will not do that now because I'm not a kid anymore I just about it I just love it was funny

I vaguely recall a couple of things...

You know the kinds of things schoolkids do when the teacher's back is turned. Everyone would giggle but I couldn't do this - I had a loud, explosive laugh which always got me into trouble! (I got sacked for singing on New Year's Day at a typing pool as well! Jeez!)

Another time - can't recall what I did - but had to stay behind and write 'I must not do....' whatever it was lots of times. I was indignant. I used the time to explain myself, handed it in and ran out!

However, the most dramatic/rebellious act was concerning dressmaking class. We were told our tacking stitches (before sewing) had to be exactly half an inch. I thought this was ridiculous so just tacked it without measuring each stitch. We had to show our tacking to the teacher, for approval, before we could sew. Of course she disapproved and pulled out my tacking! I was furious and threw a chair (not aimed at anyone!) I am half Italian so not sure if being more volatile had anything to do with it. I was banned from further classes. Did it hamper me? Not really - I have created my own clothes, re. adaptations etc in my adult life.

I got into trouble for sticking up for myself. we were in potery i had made a bust of a womans face.i painted it everyone thought it was good.
Except one girl who smashed it.
so i kept my foot on the potters wheel grabbed her by her hair and put her face on the wheel while it was going. you should have heard her scream.

The second time a teacher in art asked us to do something he just came up to me asked who i thought i was even though i did nothing,
so i told him i was aware of who i was but who did he think he was. he grabbed my hair wrong move, i put his head through a board them i told him ever try that again next time it will be worse.

I never caused trouble but i finished it.

It's it was so naughty but funny the same time I'm I'll be remember for doing that me and my friends silly naughty and dumb but kids are at that age but I still love him now 30 years later is little more I love about it
