There is no juice is an unripe orange, that doesn't mean there is anything like anti-OJ 
In the same way, there is no such thing as a dark side. People do harm because of the lack of light / lack of spiritual advancement.

The "dark side" thrives on the absence of light, including poisonous vices taken to the extremes (wrath, jealousy etc)

As I explained two posts before yours, there is no such thing as a dark side. It therefore cannot thrive on anything. Saying so is like saying the acidity in an unripe orange thrives on the absence of juice.

Well, first of all, there is no force in heaven, earth or hell that can make beings act negatively, unless that same evil is already present in that person.
OK, now you wanted to know what this force is....... First of all, that force of evil is ALSO in us, along with the force of good. Satan and his fallen angels are NOT COMPLETELY different than us. the difference is in degree, not in kind. If Satan is very hateful, we are also hateful sometimes to a much lesser degree. so the difference is in degree, not in quality.
The real root of evil is in the non-surrendered mind. When we object to life, we create a little evil in our thoughts by our non-acceptance of life. This non-acceptance when taken to extremes can make us very evil. So, evil in the technical and comprehensive sense, is simply not accepting what life gives you. Surrendering to what-is leads to goodness, and not accepting what-is leads to evil, great or small, depending on the person.

Post 155 is excellent, imo. 
I think it is said that Jesus, then, would be the 1 that had no evil in him...they call sin, I think.

The real root of evil and the 'dark side' in the unconscious, because nobody wants to spend time thinking about what monsters that we have ourselves created might be lurking in there. Acceptance or not is all about cognitive dissonance and or cognitive behaviour, which is an unconscious process. There's the 'dark side' that we all have. |
