... on the wall she was leaning against.. Elfin looked up and saw this huge dinosaur egg,
it was Humpty Dumpty's older (prehistoric) cousin, Humtosaurus Dex..
He slowly walked over to her.. but then, out of nowhere..

Out of nowhere Humpdosaurus Rex gave live birth to a forest of giant, prehistoric flowers.
It picked one giant flower in its mouth and walked over to Elfin to hand it too her but the giant prehistoric flower was far too heavy for Elfin to hold so what happened next is that Elfin....

...and Ohhhhhhh.... Elfin just gazed at the scene of colour and wonderment before , till in the end she turned to the twins ..humtosaurus Dex and humpdosaurus Rex and asked..... "Is it my imagination or have those giant flowers got eyes ..?".....

The flowers looked at each other puzzled by Elfin's question while BigJohn the tiniest quint of them all, continued to try to work out what seven times eight was on a piece of paper.

HAHAHA
HE WAS GOING TO TRY 58 TIMES JUST TO MAKE SURE BUT ON THE 57TH TIME HE REALISED IF HE HAD HE WOULD HAVE ATTEMPTED ONE, TWO MANY TIMES...
HE SHOULD HAVE JUST STOPPED AT 56 TIMES...

...And lamented that he only had five toes while his brother had seven. so he said how come you always have to have a leg up on me? no fair...
Whoa whoa whoa said the hands, realizing that something nefarious was afoot, so they instantly got all up in arms over the injustice of it all...
... But then...the opposable thumbs got in the fight, prompting the middle fingers to gesture obscenely  .. But the worst of it was... Because the neck declared I'm not going to shoulder the blame so he just decided at that moment to head off into the sunset. After all what's a body to do? 
... But the flowers did have eyes, and said to Dex and Rex that they could see a way out of this dilemma....

..But Elfin can't let this go. She is still puzzled. Normally they keep her drugged up for her own safety. But 10 minutes a week they let her out into the grounds for some fresh air and excerise. They do of course tie her to a tree so she can't escape, and they class the struggling to get free as "excerise"... But that's by the by..
The point is, during these more "lucid" moments , Elfin STILL cannot work out the maths....
They are telling her they are quintets ....
Yet there are roughly 19 of them .
How can they be quintets ?????
Surely that would make them dix-neuflets.... ( Or however else you spell it in Dutch ).... ???
