Warm "wave"

For years, I've kept experiencing this phenomenon and I'd like to hear other peoples thoughts about it.

When I pray for healing, I often feel very warm heat in the body part that needs healing. It comes very suddenly and it's very strong, sometimes so strong that it would be painful if it was just a bit stronger. It usually disappears as suddenly as it came.

No actual healing have happened so far by it tho (at least not instantly), it's just that strong feeling of warmth which will disappear after a while without actually doing anything.

I have no clue what it is, and does it serve some purpose or not. My best guess would be god/spirit expressing it's presence and interest through this phenomenon. But what confuses me is that nothing visible ever happens.

Anyone have any ideas about this?

I believe the warm feeling is energy, by praying for healing you are practising ' Mindfulness ' and bringing your mind back to your body. Waves of energy is the ' Awareness ' Just my opinion and others will differ
