You are speaking of perfect love. Genuine love exists which cannot be discounted. Our experiences of genuine love help us to understand the nature of perfect love. Genuine love happens when the ego is put aside and transcended. When the ego is transcended then judgement is suspended. Love then happens on a case by case basis but in each case both the ego and judgement are absent. The ego is a necessary component of the material world and duality. Perfect love can only exist in the spiritual world. It is not correct to say that you cannot love at all. To make this statement is a judgement in itself and simply means that the one making it is guilty of judgement and, therefore, not capable of perfect love.
