Yes this is true..
Please share this Flemish word that's on your mind.
Flemish people are funny talkers by the way, I was with a few on a holiday, and earlier this year also in Belgium for work. They sound funny at the beginning, though after a while you get used to it. One guy always said ''voila'' after most of his sentences!
