Well my most memorable moment of gratitude for today involved a little boy who I have been working with for several weeks. He has been quite traumatised and has not been engaging with workers at our service. He has presented with quite concerning withdrawal behaviours. Well today without any lead up he finally decided to help me to pick up some screws I had dropped while I was attempting to fix a safety gate which he had 'broken'  ... by the end of my shift he was shadowing me .. still no language however he wanted to be there with me as I went about my tasks ... such a small thing but it was huge progress

I am grateful that I have realized (this evening) what had been conveyed to me (by a friend) earlier this week. It is easy to read into something what it is we want to hear at the time, however I have just realized what was actually 'being shared' ... I appreciate the light which truth sheds on my understandings lol ...

Can I just say pyschoslice I am glad we are friends now ... we seemed to get out of whack with each other a little back in the day and I even found myself being a bit rude to you but now I am grateful that we have developed a deeper understanding with each other ... you are a lovely person and I just needed to get out of my own way to see that

Sound thats so sweet of you, tell you the truth I always had a soft spot for you but I though you didn't like me, how silly I am, he he, I can still be a jerk though but I have it under control these days, I hope lol, but thanks for your kind words, it has really helped me.  |
