I like the woody look, it reminds me of one of my favourite places in Wales!

But.... my aged brain is having a bit of a hard time acclimatizing!!!

I've noticed there's a limit on the length of PM's.... I tried to send one (admittedly it was long... but then I tend to ramble just a bit in my old age!!)... but I was instructed that it was too long to send....

Is it possible for this restriction to be removed please?

And is there a similar restriction on post length on the threads... a previous site that I was on had a limit, and it was extremely frustrating....

Also... I'm positive when I first logged in here it said I could store up to 100 private messages.... but now it says the limit's 50.... this isn't disastrous by any means, but as I tend to forget to sift through my messages, it would be useful to be able to store more!

I hope this doesn't look like a whinge! It's not meant to be... it's just a case of smoothing out wrinkles and of clarifying things....

Thanks for all you've done Devolution, and thanks for what you're doing... it really is greatly appreciated!

I have upgraded PMs to 100...

Posts are set at 64,000 characters maximum - this is surely enough for even the most fastest of typers ;)

PMs are set to 32,000 characters maximum

Can I ask what "referrals" are?

In my profile, it says "Referrals"... I just wondered what this meant?

Unforunately as signature images are linked from other sites, the system doesn't have any control over them...

More emoticons will be installed shortly...

Please be patient... There is only me at present keeping a rein on the madness

Referrers - you can tell someone your ID and they can type it in when they signup and you'll get a increment each time someone does. Some sites use it for bonus systems etc.

Yep! I get that too! I think it's a timing-out thing... I panicked because I thought I'd lose what I was trying to post, but when I've re-logged in, the information is still there....

Have you tried clicking on the 'Remember Me' checkbox??

Sometimes, the cookies don't work properly on IE and play havoc with membership sites... Try clearing them using Internet Options...
