Surviving Death

Particularly suited to those just beginning their search for answers but also of interest I'd say to anyone already knowledgeable about the subjects covered in this Netflix documentary.

It begins with 'Near Death Experiences' goes on to 'Mediums' followed by 'Signs from the Dead', then 'Seeing Dead People' and closes by considering 'Reincarnation'.

After nearly 40 years of these topics I was lukewarm about watching this series but I found it gave a balanced, interesting presentation on widely-varying subjects that I write often-daily about online.

recommended!

I just watched 'Equinox'. It's a European series about a woman who wants to find out what happened to her sister that disappeared when she was just a little girl. She is led by her dreams down a path of magical folklore and discovers her own part in it all.

It ends quickly and leaves you wondering.

I watched 'The Dawn Wall', a documentary about 2 guys who climber the dawn wall and El Cap. Such a beautiful story.

Do people in that sport die? Looks so dangerous. Like that wing flying one too. Oh I just read 5 bull riders died recently. I don't understand why sports or activities are allowed that people die or get hurt in.

A while ago I watched 'Free Solo' about a guy who climbed El Cap alone with no ropes, which was an incredible film. Then I saw 'The Dawn Wall' which was a bit different because the storyline was more about overcoming and togetherness, whereas Free Solo was about a single minded lone wolf trying to attain his flow of perfection. Both absolutely wonderful movies.
