Your bird in the nest reminds me of a video I saw today of one person making some very delicious food and in the food where some beautiful Lotus blossoms.

Maybe, the Mother Bird has gathered some delicious food which includes blossoms for her Babies.

The chipmunk knows how to use the hideout wisely as he looks around for more food and/or mischief to get into.

Interesting work, Uma, I got heavily into Pollock works for 3 yrs in 2003, had a grand time. No lessons, just my mind.

With aging I'm now working to find "homes" for all my works. I've gifted a few to people I don't know and gifted some to friends over the years Sold a couple.

Thanks for sharing that jaminhealth. I like the idea of "no lessons, just my mind" and Pollock really freed up art from having to be representational. Are you still painting?

No I'm not painting anymore, I ran out of space in my apt to hang all the art for one thing, gave some away to those who liked my work, and I painted to end of 2006. 2003-2006

I have a small apt and had sheets all over the place to do what I did. My hip was getting problematic and I ended up with hip replacement in 2010 and talk about body damage, I got it big time from the surgery.

In my long life I had a lot of time for hobbies in spite for 40 yrs of working and raising one child, and I did a lot of hobbies, but the painting 3 yrs was a HighLight. I must have really enjoyed and liked my art.

Do you still paint, do you sell your art etc?

Sorry to hear about the damage.
I couldn't stop painting if I wanted to. For now I'm just painting in miniature which saves on space and easy to post online too.
I have no interest in the business side so it's art for art's sake.

In case you feel like painting without inventory, just water, brush and Japanese calligraphy practice paper (very soothing). It disappears so you can enjoy just the process and fleeting image (like life):
