Others have used Kriya yoga, still others energy transfer from a guru (Shaktipat).

The degree of awakening is endless. It’s not an on/off switch!

Possibly Shivani Devi can guide you best or maybe NoOne, if they so choose. You can ask.

jonesboy too knows and can help.

Thank you also for the mention.

I received a PM today from the opening poster, but I read this thread first before checking my PMs. My further involvement will be continued via Private Message if Jay requests it.

Yes, you are correct in that I am on a long sabbatical and if I didn't have to wait for an hour and a half for a dentist appointment today, I would have been none the wiser, but I will make it a priority to assist Jay... especially seeing as how he was born on Maha Shivratri and I will also be looking into this from the perspective of Jyotisha (Ancient Vedic Astrology).

Maybe you can understand why it is that I don't visit here much anymore from the replies in this thread (and others) there is just a bit too much gaslighting going on with this forum for my liking and I can tell you something about the early stages of Kundalini awakening... negativity causes more resistance to the energies, so until such time as one learns to deal with these negative emotions, avoidance is the way to go... meanwhile, strengthening one's resolve and confidence simultaneously to be able to deal with such things later on down the track.

Peace out brothers and sisters.

I'm not pointing to shivani devi, but since i have these symptoms for almost five years,i'm not going to sit around, trying to convince my self that it's a kundalini awakening, and not something else.
I've heard about people who died from these symptoms, when their immune system couldn't fight them anymore.

If you're comfortable with this, sit back and watch your self destroyed, feeling the glamour of having your kundalini awake.

Before I go and drink a cup of dandelion tea and watch some Dr. Axe presentations, please allow me to make one thing perfectly clear.

Spontaneous Kundalini awakening or any form of massive energetic shift requires a 180 degree change in lifestyle and personal habits.

Those with compromised nervous or immune systems are pretty much the result of those who totally refuse to change/adapt to the massive shifts going on within their bio-energetic fields.

For one thing, I bet that Jay likes coffee, cola, sugar or carbonated beverages.

Where the body, the liver, the adrenals may have been able to tolerate certain chemicals up to a certain point before the awakening of Kundalini, now they find they have zero tolerance whatsoever and also discover much to a rude awakening that to avoid premature death, now they have to do things like consume turmeric milk twice a day, cut out hydregonated trans fatty acids, take supplements of Ashwaghanda and rely on my favourite supplement for the immune system, Chayawanprash:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chyawanprash

Unfortunate as it is, many people don't believe in the power of ayurvedic herbs, who don't believe in traditional healers or medicinal plants, who don't think they need to do anything after Kundalini awakens that they were not doing before the event and much prefer to die a premature death due to stubbornness, laziness and ignorance than to strengthen their bodily systems to keep up.

Thank you and have a nice day.

Kundalini awakening will grant you access to your energy body one way or another. You'll be granted 'something'.
If not, sorry but i think it's not a kundalini awakening.

That is a good point you're making, I think we haven't considered the possibility that Jay may be dealing with something other than a Kundalini Awakening. More information is needed on the exact symptoms.

Yes, you will be granted access, but whether or not you choose to take advantage of this access is a different matter entirely.

In one way, it is rather pointless discussing Kundalini with anybody except for a bona fide, self realised guru and all of the ones I have spoken to (except for Swami Satyananda Saraswati) always considered the subject quite taboo...and with good reason.. because it is so easy for the ego to get involved and to run with it...thinking that a hot flush due to menopause is somehow "Kundalini related"...you get the point.

I had a very good conversation with Swami Venkateshananda once...he simply told me to keep on loving and worshiping Lord Shiva like a good devotee and forget about the whole Kundalini business...if it is meant to happen, it will, regardless.

Now, here is where it gets sticky..

There is something I don't understand about human behavior, maybe someone here can enlighten me.

You say "I think it is not a Kundalini awakening" and I just have to ask if what you "think" bears any semblance to reality?

I am forever asking this question of everybody who thinks stuff..."according to whom?"

Why should one personal opinion matter? This goes for just about everything, from whether my backside looks too big in jeans to whether I have experienced a spiritual awakening... would I need to survey almost 8 billion people to be sure?

Now, you look at all the symptoms of a Kundalini awakening vs all the symptoms of a delusional psychosis...they match almost perfectly so is everyone here awakened or insane? It all depends on who you talk to, isn't it? but that still means nothing...save for the person you are speaking with.

There's a reason why the saying "God only knows" exists...for this purpose alone.

So, one may say to me "I don't think you have had a spiritual awakening" and all I can say is "what you think is irrelevant". There is always going to be "terms and conditions" based around cognitive dissonance and personal bias which clouds the way people "think"...and hence why it is that among the more genuine Spiritual masters, such things aren't even discussed...for there will come a time when both Guru and disciple will automatically know without any accompanying words.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.

I would say that Kundalini awakening and even its malformed cousin, Kundalini Syndrome, have specific physiological symptoms, that are hard to miss. It is important to study your own experiences dispassionately and compare them to what is described in the authoritative literature. Although the phenomenon is little-known, it has been studied by some of the greatest minds of the 20th century, such as Freud, Jung and the Quantum Physicists Von Weizsacker and Heisenberg as well as Stanislav Grof, I believe. Therefore, it can hardly be said that it is a myth or a sign of delusion, notwithstanding that some people will of course attribute certain symptoms and phenomena in their lives to Kundalini awakening, without good reason.

The study of meditation, yoga, various spiritual practices and their possible side effects is a new branch of medicine, so it is little-known, but growing fast. It is hard to find medical professionals that can help in such cases, but they do exist and there are actual clinics now that specialise in treating Kundalini Syndrome. Some of these professionals are listed in the "Kundalini Rising" book (available on scribd, if you don't want to buy it outright, along with most of Gopi Krishna's books).

No One: I totally agree with you, in fact (and in case you missed it) I previously mentioned the works of Stanislav Grof and the Spiritual Emergence Network - however, trying to find a practitioner who knows what all this is about is like trying to find a needle in a haystack and meanwhile, I have earned the "schizophrenic" label.

Many conventional psychiatrists (which MOST are) don't subscribe to the outmoded ideas of Freud and Jung anymore, even though the more spiritual among us are aware of it.

They prefer to base their perceptions and diagnosis upon contemporary thought.

There would be more professionals open to the idea of they weren't afraid of rejection, peer ridicule, not doing things according to the DSM, losing their funding, their seat on the board, their golf buddies...yada...

However there is one thing you said brilliantly...dispassion is the key when analyzing personal experience.

Hello Jay,

It’s the first time I get to read you, “enchanté” like we say in French.

It’s a time to rejoice, they are only fears to learn to leave behind, they are not you.

You are now on a chariot that will bring heaven on earth, just need to learn to enjoy the ride. There is nothing to seek anymore. The chariot of those energy changes you are feeling will take you where you are already, if you only allow yourself to relax deeply.

I would stop meditating for a good while, until you make friends with those movement of energies within.

Simply listen from within, relax often, like simply lying down on the back in the bed and following with your attention all those movement. Do not intervene, simply observe, it’s all you have to do at this point.

Do a grounding exercise as often as you feel like it. The simple salute to the sun does wonder.

Here is a grounding exercise I did often when my Kundalini started to awaken some 20 years ago. It’s from someone who calls herself Mystress Angelique Serpent.

“Visualize a sunbeam coming straight down from waaaay up above, shining directly on the top of your head.

Feel it warming the top of your head,
then the top of the head becomes a flower (1000 petaled lotus)

The flower opens to the warmth

and draws the sunlight down it's stem,

into your head,

sparkling, tingling,

into the third eye and throat,

to fill a reservoir space in the torso,
an oval going from belly to collarbone.

When the space is filled
with bright sparkling radiant light,
brilliant as the sunrise reflecting off the ocean,

we notice the inner container has a hole in the bottom,
and a stream of light leaks from the bottom of the reservoir,

down through your feet, down

down like a laser beam drilling

down

Waaaaay down

to the very center of the Earth.

Gaia's fiery crystalline heart,
Her Kundalini.
When the beam hits the centre,

it seems to almost start some kind of explosion down there

it sparks a volcano of light from the firey crystal

that comes up

up

up through the earth

roaring back up

like "Old Faithful",

back into your feet,
(feel them start to tingle?)

exploding the reservoir of light in your center

into star bright radiance, glowing, growing

into an oval bigger than you.

shooting out the top of your head

like an umbrella-fountain,

sun drops rolling down to describe the oval

that is the perimeter of your aura,
two feet above your head
and three feet below your feet
making it complete and sealed against all harm.

A force field bubble shielding you.

Some of the light going up

keeps going up

waaaay up

up to wherever it came from

up there.

The center, fed and charged
by the light flowing through you down and up

increases in brilliance

bigger and brighter

to fill the whole oval of your aura completely.

Feel yourself
as an egg of light
on an eternal thread of light
with light coming from Creator to Earth
and back again
through you
and around you.

When you can hold this mental image clearly,
(as bright and clear as you can make it)
make an internal request for it to stay that way.
Snap your fingers,
"Circuit is Locked in".
Your unconscious will now maintain the light circuit,
while you do other things.

You are now grounded.”

Enjoy!
