Premonition That Death Was Coming?

Hello:
I could not find a folder for "premonitions" so I am going to tell my story here. Thank you for reading it ... it is long ... but I hope that some of you will provide some feedback for me.

A PREMONITION?

Back in 1988 when my children were small, my husband would take them to see their grandparents, annually during Easter Break, which is March or April.
Anyway, one year, I told my husband he needed to take the kids down there before April. I told not to wait till April ... to "go now". "Now" was early September of that year. I don't know why, but I just had this strong feeling that he needed to do that. I told him he needed to see his Dad "now". No idea why.
So he took them down in September. One day after they left, my husband's father (their grandfather) went into the hospital and he never came out. He died two months later around Thanksgiving.
This case is not very clear cut in that:
a) I knew my father in law was aged and had been ill for quite some time. However, imminent death was not on the table, so to speak, as far as I knew.
b) He died over two months after they came home which was before Easter, but it was not an immediate thing.
b) So this opens it up to the possibility that I knew he was ill and was making an educated guess that he "might not be around much longer". But, as I said, he was not terminal. He did die of Emphysema.

I am posting it to hear your comments on this. There was no after-death communication in this case, although I had told my husband to go down again, and see his father when I found out he was very ill and close to death in the Month of November. When my husband went down there, he called me on the phone and said, "What should I do?" My father does not seem to understand me". He seems to be hallucinating. (I later found out that his father was put on an anti-psychotic drug called Haldol, which my husband believed caused his hallucinations and death). Ultimately, the emphysema is what did it. In any case, I told my husband to talk to his father ... to get close to his ear (as hearing is the last thing to go) and to tell him that he loved him. He did so.
He also told me that his Dad was speaking to people who had already passed over. Like his Mom and his brother. He was having conversations with these people and was very pleased to see them, but no one else saw them. I have since learned that this is quite common when people are near-death. In fact, since then, I have heard many people recount these stories, including hospice nurses. It is a common phenomenon and I wonder if it is hallucinations or really "seeing these souls" who have come to help us pass over. After all, if it is hallucinating, many, many people are hallucinating in the exact same way. In other words, they are not seeing bats; they are all seeing the departed.
Your opinions? Thank you
