What crystals would you recommend to put in a young toddler's bedroom (obviously they'd be out of reach)

Gentle stones, and typically recommended for young kids, are rose quartz and/or selenite. These are very gentle, loving, soothing, and safe to use for children.
Selenite is angelic energy. And it cleanses, protects, and unlike black tourmaline, it doesn't need cleansing itself either.

Yes, they're pretty basic/general stones and don't cost much either :)
I have a piece of selenite in every corner of my own bedroom.

Yeah I agree on Rose Quartz and Selenite. Soft gentle stones.

Hello
For mine it was Amethyst and Rose Quartz.
When mine got older they all wanted one of the most powerful one's being Hematite. Each one of them has that stone with them.
