Years of feeling Fatigue

I'm relatively young in my twenties, but because of a lot of childhood trauma and depression I let out my pain through a lot of self-harming habits like sitting for long hours, seeking unnecessary medications/procedures that worsened my condition, eating unhealthy, and overworking myself. Due to these habits, I manifested a lot of physical problems at my young age from poor digestion, bloating, joint problems, weakness/fatigue, and sleeping problems.

I've been fixing my diet for the past 3 years, drinking more water and exercising more often to rehabilitate myself. I also practice a healthy sleeping schedule, but it's like the trauma is trapped in my body and I've burned out whatever energy have left to recover my cells. I've researched every natural way to heal myself but its not sticking.

I always wake up everyday feeling exhausted. Makes no sense as I never am too busy. Just always feeling exhausted, and for context I am skinny not overweight. It's difficult to grasp anything of what's going on since my bloodwork is fine and every doctor I've been to can see I look fine from labs and visually.

I just look tired and feel tired often. I've been lifting weights recently as well just hard to keep the muscle on. Always eat protein, just hard for me absorb nutrients I guess. And even when I take vitamins it's not much difference.

Anyone can guess what I'm missing in my body?

There are ways to recover from trauma. Tried trauma therapy already? I did, it worked. Trauma can trigger psychosomatic issues as well. These can’t be clarified medically. I have it even after my therapy. Psychosomatic issues stem from unresolved emotions. Basically you gotta feel it and release it. Trauma can be resolved due to the right therapy.

Much kindness,

CW

Trauma is stressful and constant stress can tire the adrenals out. Adrenal fatigue happens in stages. In the early stages of fight or flight, the adrenals pump out cortisol and adrenaline to compensate for the stress. Over time, if the stress doesn't ease up, your adrenals become depleted and cannot even keep up with your day to day needs of cortisol production. Your body needs cortisol to function properly. There are 24 hr cortisol saliva tests you can order online to determine the level of adrenal functioning. In the early states of adrenal fatigue, your cortisol levels will be high and as time goes on without treatment, your cortisol level output will drop. The saliva test is collected 4 times to give an idea of what your cortisol levels are like in a 24 hour period. And that will help you determine whether you need to lower your cortisol levels by calming the adrenals or supporting the adrenals with something like licorice that helps them produce cortisol or if you are in the later stage of adrenal fatigue where your cortisol levels never reach normal levels and you actually need cortisol replacement. Fatigue is a symptom whether you have high or low cortisol so you really should test to find out. Janie Bowthorpe, owner of the website Stop The Thyroid Madness has a really good section on adrenal fatigue and she has links as to where to purchase the 24 hr cortisol saliva tests because many people with thyroid issues are also dealing with adrenal issues and they must be treated together. But mention her site because she has really good information about adrenal fatigue, the various stages and how to treat it. A lot of sites online just assume that adrenal fatigue is excess cortisol and that's not true at all.

Good luck.

''... since my blood work is fine and every doctor I've been to can see I look fine from labs and visually.''

I know! It's frustrating...and why my pms to you. And then, one day you find a health care person that finds out what the issue is!
And you're on your way back to health in a few months finally!!
And it doesn't come from the AMA...American Medical Assoc...aka, doctors.
There ARE good people in Orlando, FL. that can help. Lived there for years.

There IS hope!!

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

I too am constantly tired. What I found helpful is drawing up energy from Earth and not grounding it. Added on to that is shadow work. The term was coined by Jung and if you want, you should be able to find a therapist who knows shadow work. The basic idea is to work through all the aspects of yourself you need to deal with as the gunk held in the subconscious weighs one down.

Both methods gave me energy, especially drawing up earth energy every day.

Bright blessings to you on your healing journey!
