Best crystal for wearing all the time?

Hi, I'm looking for some crystal that is good to wear all the time. I'm planning to have a crystal on my necklace or ring, so do you have any recommendations? Something that is good, gives me strenght, positive energy, or focus and peace?
I'm not that into gemstones and crystals, so please help me out here.

I was born on January 20th. I searched on internet and there it says that the
crystal called "Amethyst" is good for me.
Should I buy that or the crystal you recommended?

Whatever feels right to you. Both are a form of quartz. Both are protective and uplifting.Follow your gut.

Amethyst is good for binding and banishing negativity and ill-wishing and gives you influence over those who have power over you.

However--Crystal Quarts will bind and banish negativity and ill-wishing--plus raise the energy--so you have to be certain that you are able to keep your own negativity in check--or it will be magnified.

If you are good at centering yourself--then a combination of the two could work for you.

You could add Hemitite to the mix--it promotes balance and communication and would be an attractive combination with the other two Crystals.

Amethyst is a great stone. I'm also a big fan of clear Quartz. That's my own go-to stone.

You might find a different type of stone really calls to you, when you start looking at stones to carry and/or crystal jewelry to wear. If you really feel a strong pull toward a particular stone, that's an indicator that you'll really benefit from that stone's energies.

You might also notice that over time, you'll find that kind of pull happening with varying types of stones. Our energies are always evolving, so the things we need today might be different than the things we needed six months ago, or the things we will need next year.

So go with the flow, and go within your budget. Remember, there is no need to go broke buying stones. I only mention this because when we are first starting out, it's perfectly normal to have a DO WANT, DO WANT, DO WANT reaction to a whole bunch of different stones, as we are starting to build our personal collection. But we also have to remember the need to do little things like pay bills and buy food, before we go on a spending spree. Keep a level head, and enjoy your new hobby.

It really depends on your personal wavelength. I was told that moonstone is my birth stone so I should wear it all the time, but for whatever other reason I have an energy that doesn't react well with moonstone even though everything else says I "should". That's how I learned the hard way that there is no "should" about it. You're the only one who can say what's good and what's the best for you to wear. (Unless an allergy expert tells you that you're physically allergic to metals or some rock, that can happen. Spiritually, though, it's all you.)

I have a purple one I was given for protection...I'm not sure what type of crystal it is but I know is for protection... the medium who gave it to me said that the colour purple is a sign of protection :)

Sometimes Angel shops in your area might do little things like this...I personally think they are amazing and you can change the stone :)

Everyone is different and you will have to experiment to see what stone works best with you, one that you would want to work with everyday. It really all depends on what you want from a stone. If you want psychic protection and grounding everyday then you would wear something like Obsidian, Jet, Onyx, Smoky Quartz, Hematite, etc. If you want something that aids in astral travel, inter-dimensional travel, contact with E.T.s, etc. then you would wear something like Moldavite or an Indochinite every day. Before you go ahead and buy a piece of jewelry though I would buy a piece of the stone that is not set in jewelry and try it out to see how it works with you. Some people are not able to wear Moldavite every day and so a piece of Moldavite jewelry might be a waste of money for them and instead they should just get a small raw piece. But without trying out different stones and seeing how they work with you specifically you will never find out what is best for you personally because it is different for everyone. I would start out figuring out exactly what you want from a stone and that will allow you to find a list of stones that have that metaphysical property and give you a good place to start researching and trying things out.
