What would we show them?
Our cell phones
Our scientific ways of life

What could we teach them?
How to be better humans
How to manage the intricacies
Of life
The planet?

What would help them?

If the aliens came
What could they show us?

Were we doomed from the start?
Why drop in when you know
We are a hopeless lot
Playing with our scientific gadgets
Like the Atom Bomb
And the internet

Would they know about love?
Would they care?
Or would they fly light-years away
To another star
Across the Milkyway.

If you have found
Some kinda pulsating bliss in this life
Go tell it to the aliens
Leave me alone
I would rather sit with the neanderthals

Who's more an alien than your own neighbor?
Who's more a stranger than the insect on the floor?

Or you can do it the other way....

The neanderthals had access to these plants, as I do today.
Hence the cave paintings?

I don't know if it's a translation issue but it sounds a bit creepy to me!!

You don't need any substance to be high, that's the great thing about meditation, it makes your overall mood rise, meaning that you don't have any "hangover" from it.

For the paintings of neanderthal, I don't know, they didn't have tv or internet, so I guess they had plenty of time to kill, especially in winter or when the weather was awful like now. No need to take plants for that, although I'm sure they did have fun with some.
And that's probably the same for the people who wrote the articles about it!

It does sound creepy, being touched can be more than sexual, but if that's what you took from it, well it was not my intent. Had more to do with the cave painting!

I meditate, and I do sacred substances. What I find fascinating is that the neanderthals had perhaps the same mind-altering experiences some open-minded people today have had.

Nothing wrong with that, some do some don't... I'm high on life and my mind too.

But there are always critics, no matter what you do...

Peace and light on whatever path you may choose..

Jesus, or what other trips may be.

Love to me is foundational. And the Neanderthals cave paintings with the hands, well it seems to indicate the sense of communal love. That is amazing....

Ya know, it's amazing...

Today some people are getting ready to blast other people off the map. What's the problem with us.

Neanderthals were humans like us, but they were a distinct species called Homo neanderthalensis.

Go dig into the history, it's amazing to me. Get to know your ancestors.

Perhaps, what the Neanderthals were trying to show us in cave paintings, is there is a way through this.

Yes, I know the Neanderthal theory and autism. I don't know how old you are, but this came out roughly at the same time as the DNA testing available to everybody.
It's fancy but to me the Gen Z has many autism traits, and I don't think our DNA evolved that fast.
Our environment modifies the expression of certain genes, and maybe some dormant features of Neanderthal came back, probably those who have more Neanderthal genes are more adapted to the current society.
Still, it's only a tiny portion of our DNA that may come from there.

Our DNA and their DNA did mix, it is said they did mate with Homosaphins.
