Does the goat mean anything? and if -what?

I don't know about the Pagan meanings, but I can share what the goat means to me. I love the goat. The goat is hardworking, and moves forward and upwards no matter what disappointments or crumbs are thrown its way. It accepts what it is given, and keeps moving up until it reaches its goal. It keeps its eyes on the prize and lets go of the rest.

The guidance I would associate with the goat is to keep working towards your aims, pay anyone who throws negativity your way little mind, but be sure to keep cleansing your mind and energy field as the negativity can add up and weigh on you.

I have to agree with txsha, the goat for me was a blessing, I did some shadow work a while back but I did light work first, so I was able to take the light in with me through shadow work, i think in the past those that did shadow work without light we’re only searching for dark workings, that why you see satan goat head associated, it can be neither good nor bad only what you want it to be, the shadows are not evil they are projections of you which you keep hidden in the unconcious, wrapping your love and light around your shadows accepting them as part of you will draw out all fears, I remember when I accomplished this it was like sitting at the bottom of the ocean floor, it was pitch black but I felt no fear only love and compassion for the darkness, I felt as one and whole, I knew darkness could not exist in me because I was the light, that’s how one accomplishes the ying yang, you overcome both.

I was led to a giant T shaped mountain, I didn’t know how to get up there, then a beautiful white mountain goat appeared and helped me climb, he assists me now in reality, when I need strength I call upon the mountain goat, and he’s always there to help. I still get faced with certain shadows now in my visions sometimes they block my path, e.g. I was faced with a ferocious wolf once snarling at me, but I seen his soul and he wasn’t all that bad, I wrapped my love and light around him and told him I love him and god accepts him, then there he was a little fun pup rolling round so playful, he was harmless, one should not fear what they see only look into the soul cos deep in there is a light waiting to shine, sometimes they just need help finding it.

We all have the light inside us it’s our core the solar plexus chakra, and once activated through light work, you allow this energy to awaken opening up and expand with your conscious awakening and also in your unconcious and collective. Some people go in search for the light through visions but one only needs to look inside.
