Dark desires nonplus,
each life breath tests us,
moment to moment ~
lust odours ferment.

Our mind-body urge
self-blocks the bliss surge;
darkness shrouds darkness,
distanced from oneness.

Fall from grace our shame.
Stupor is to blame.
We’ve a lot to learn ~
see how instincts burn.

Regret and remorse
corrects our life course,
becoming mindful
of the divine pull.

Shapeshifting ego,
heart’s weakness does know,
that seeks to acquire
objects of desire.

Myriad thought forms
attack us in swarms,
spawning illusion,
cause of delusion.

Our soul is agape;
there seems no escape,
since fear mirrors lust,
in a downward thrust.

We are living light
in blissful delight,
yet this truth is veiled ~
on desire’s cross nailed.

Ego’s like a ghost,
for each time we boast
or succumb to greed,
devil’s who we feed.

Just when all seems lost,
if heart we defrost
inviting God in,
we are cleansed from sin.

Sans thought, ego dies.
We then feel joy rise,
transmuting our soul,
now blissful and whole.

Soul’s light stolen, ego’s the thief
It employs thought spirals to bemuse
Sans in void of cessation there’s no relief

Fears and desires, the standard ruse
Mind-body attachment, the cause
Subjects pristine soul to abuse

If we put thought flow on pause
Our luminous presence is revealed
We stand here now erect, free from flaws

Oh hermit, if we so choose, we may be healed
Inner light revealed, nothing concealed

The rot has sunk in deep ~
tragic is our stupor,
trauma bonding with pain,
enslaved by dark desires,
cleansing not, our soul’s stain.

The rot has sunk in deep ~
we know not who we are,
yet seek not truth of life,
adrift thus rudderless,
engaged in needless strife.

The rot has sunk in deep ~
we’re in inner conflict,
head and heart misaligned,
deaf to voice of conscience,
soul’s to darkness consigned.

The rot has sunk in deep ~
scarred is heart’s innocence,
love suffused as a child,
now soiled by our ego,
plunged into tempests wild.

The sense of injury we feel,
owing to belied expectation,
by ego thought spirals amplified,
leads to our suffering and agitation.

Thus arises the real reason to forgive,
for us to heal our wounded heart.
So, is forgiveness selfish?
Let the debate start!

A flying wasp stings
or a stray dog bites us.
We feel pain but shrug it off,
accepting what is, making no fuss.

So, it’s not pain but the expectation,
we have from souls in human form,
that causes us mental anguish,
when denied embrace warm.

If we let go of expectation,
accepting each soul as they are,
then irrespective of their behaviour,
we’ll exit narrowness and cease to spar.

The need for us to forgive is obviated,
for we never ever feel injured at all,
humorously viewing play of life,
in monk mode, standing tall.

Acceptance, not forgiveness,
is then the attribute to ingrain,
looking at spirit and not outer form,
soaring at heights, free from ego stain.

Fontanel opens,
as bliss beat shapens
our energy field,
by divine grace, healed.

Nothing is concealed;
space itself does yield,
revealing soul’s light,
shining within bright.

Heightened is delight,
dancing day and night
in boundless rapture,
mind cannot capture.

Be thee oh hermit, self-taught”

in heart’s love temple,
offering healing
with sincere feeling?

Playing our life role,
do we seek control,
spawning thoughts shoddy,
serving mind-body?

Unvoiced low intent
scars the joy current,
for which we atone
alone, on our own.

There are no shortcuts,
as conscience rebuts
each thought not love inked ~
God’s counsel’s succinct.

Vultures feed off the dead,
therefore we are worried
seeing them overhead,
as fearful thought spirals,
hovering in our head.

Vultures feed off the dead,
so it’s time to reflect
on dark desires ill bred,
grown out of proportion,
since we’re by instincts led.

Vultures feed off the dead,
thus we must be a corpse,
roaming on earth with dread,
in bondage to desires,
whose roots in us have spread.

Vultures feed off the dead
but we’re soul eternal
refusing to be bled
by cravings of ego,
choosing God’s light instead.

From thought has risen
time-space warp prison;
so if we be still,
we regain soul’s will.

Poised in the void thus,
love and light fills us,
which was always there
but now we’re aware.

Vibrant nonchalance
ends fear dalliance
and as the bliss flame,
we play out life’s game.

Mind-body vessel,
is our soul’s vassal.
When both are aligned,
clear truth is divined.

Love as our thimble,
we stop thoughts nimble,
revealing our soul,
now blissful and whole.

When we say ‘our thoughts’, what is their origin?

nice question. There are two types of thoughts we have. When we are young, we tune into those thoughts that are in harmony with our current spiritual development. So those thoughts are not our own, but we make it our own, because we tune into only those thoughts that are in harmony with what we understand of life.

Then the second type of thought is creative. Then we dont just tune into thoughts that are not our own, but have new or somewhat unique thoughts that are almost completely our own.
