Earth life but a beauteous dance
Wherein we opt to enter trance
To feel pangs of separation
Until head and heart reach balance

Love God’s force, binding creation
Offers us gentle suggestion
That do not size, just vaporise
Union then births bliss ignition

Ego urges bundle of lies
Cessation the way, spake monks wise
Thus getting out of our own way
God teleports us to new highs

Immersed in prayer, night and day
Erst fears and desires drop away
In timeless time, we merge with God
Delight in love, as our mainstay

The cosmic egg, splits into two
Male-female polarities new
Beginning game of hide and seek
Esoteric truth, known to few

Each half incomplete, feeling weak
Dips into love, it’s hungry beak
Union manifests heightened joy
Fleeting due to energy leak

Body both boon and bane decoy
When heart’s pure, free from lust alloy
We entwine with God, who in-dwells
Go there now hermit, don’t be coy

Conscience speaks, hark to its love bells
Love’s the balm, that all cravings quells
Heart’s where desires begin and end
Creating both heavens and hells

Time’s now that will to God we bend
It’s the only way to ascend
Becoming again, who we are
There are no goalposts to defend

God’s here within, not somewhere far
Give up needless strife, cease to spar

All that’s manifest, is but dust
Dead leaves falling, upon earth’s crust
Yet in-dwells in all, God essence
Enlivened by divine breath just

Child of God, glows in innocence

It matters not how long we’ll take
All will rise, none will He forsake
If only we choose to be still

We’re granted limited free will
Use it well and voids within fill
As bliss divine transforms our soul
Gently shaped upon the anvil

All together, swim as one shoal
Love pulse alone, makes us feel whole
Why for then, flounder in darkness
When God-connect is our life goal

Recognising next, That oneness
To be as He, simply let go
All that is, is God-consciousness

Conditioned to believe in this or that
Caste, colour and creed determines response
Narrow views and specious logic fall flat
Before the monk, who joy pulse does ensconce

In all honesty, have we felt within
Ignition renewal continual
As bliss bubbles thus burst upon our skin
Viewing each life breath as God’s miracle

Do we reside in thought rested silence
Awareness self-aware equanimous
Are we in resonance with innocence
Throbbing of bliss current continuous

Save choosing cessation there is no way
As long as we look outwards, heart will sway

The kingdom of God lies within
We must then feel it in our bones
Tingling bliss rapture on our skin
Not words of wisdom, etched on stones

Senses look out, so what to do

We flow in staid tranquil stillness

A seeker seeking connection
Humbled at his soul’s ignorance
Presupposing separation

How long can stoic spirit celebrate
whilst caged in form and shrouded in darkness,
denied blissful rapture that won’t abate,
hoping against hope to meld with oneness,
knowing not how, due to stuporousness,
merely offered glimpses from time to time,
for most part deaf to cadence of love’s chime,
hanging like a puppet, upon a string,
veiled remaining light of divine sublime,
whilst twists and turns of fate, inflict their sting?
