My BF is Married...

Hi, I was hoping to get some help with an interpretation. I do four month two card readings before each season. My tarot predictions are usually pretty good. This last group of readings I did five months because I had an important month for April.

April: 9 of cups, King of cups = I won a major fellowship at school (a major goal)
May: 5 of pentacles, hermit = I had a pet sitter staying with me and I kicked her and her sister out and had to rearrange my summer travel plans.
June: the High priestess, Queen of pentacles = I figured out my travel plans and everything fell into place
July: three of swords, King of pentacles = will explain below
August: Ace of Swords, the Hierophant

I just travelled abroad for 5 weeks and met a guy who I spent almost everyday with and we decided to continue a long distance relationship. We really connected and everything was very romantic and he let me stay in his apartment with him regularly and then I spent my last week at his apartment. I just returned back home and we have been talking everyday and everything has been fine. However, in came the three of swords warning and I found out he is married and has a 17 year old son. He has been separated for two years and now lives in a different city. He did not tell me any of this. He spoke of his ex regularly but never mentioned they were married for a long time or had a teenage son. He is currently on vacation with a male friend where they are on a car and bicycle trip. I said that I know that he is married with a son and I do not want to cause drama while he is on vacation but I am very hurt and feel stupid that he did not tell me this. I also stated that I do not want to cause conflict while he is on his trip but if he decides he has anything to tell me I will speak to him when he returns home. For now I need some space.

He replied and said that although it is weird, he is glad I found out and that he will explain everything to me and that he is grateful I am allowing him that opportunity. He offered to discuss the situation on Skype with him this morning but I didn't feel ready to approach the situation. So we are going to Skype on August 2nd when he returns home.

I am preparing a list of questions I need to be answered as well as some personal values I need to be met before I continue any kind of relationship with him. I do not want to be a mistress or in an unfavorable position. So I am taking a break from contacting him until August 2nd to give myself room to build an emotional shield and think of what to ask and say.

My reading for August is the Ace of Swords and the Hierophant. The Hierophant I usually pull for university, since my life revolves around academia. But I know the Hierophant often is associated with commitment and marriage. I wonder if this is a positive reading or not, my brain is a bit cloudy right now and I am having a hard time interpreting this.
